Charlotte Reinke | Team Coordinator

Charlotte Reinke is a second-year English major with a minor in Marketing and a certificate in Copyediting & Publishing. She loves anything books, from poetry, to Greek and Roman classics, and fantasy and realistic fiction. She is excited to expand herself into the publishing world while still getting time to write and read good books. 




Sydney Brigger | Editor

Sydney Brigger is a transfer student in her last year as a Philosophy student with a certificate in Creative Writing. She has a passion for creativity and plays a few instruments. During her free time, she can usually be found working on bicycles or spending time with her friends. 

Anthony Brown | Editor

Anthony Brown is a baccalaureate student in his fourth year studying Creative Writing and English Education at UC. He loves music/vinyl’s (Madonna, Rob Zombie, Gwen Stefani, Amy Winehouse, Ozzy Osbourne), reading/writing (Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare), and spending time with his cats at his mother’s. As a gothic & horror enthusiast his work has been published under Short Vine Fall ’24, Fellowship of the Unmoored and Wingless Dreamer. He can be found on Instagram @a.nth._ny




Athena Bermudez | Editor

Athena is a second-year English student dedicated to publishing and copyediting and has a passion for language, storytelling, and creative expression. As a first-generation Latin-American woman, her goal is to bring diversity and awareness to literary spaces. She loves writing poetry, playing guitar, and curating mood-specific playlists.

Bella Gordo | Team Coordinator

Bella Gordo is a second-year majoring in Creative Writing. She is a proud Darwin T. Turner Scholar. Bella enjoys being devalued in group discussions and painfully learning the horror and joy of Black womanhood. She is really into movies (ahem, films) and hopes to write one eventually about her life starring Scarlett Johansson. She also loves writing and reading poetry and fiction. Bella loves most her dog Petie who she adopted this semeste




Evan Trimbur | Editor

Evan Trimbur is a former paratrooper in the U.S. Army and currently studies Creative Writing at University of Cincinnati. He enjoys chess, good conversations, and finding any excuse to sleep outside. When reading, Evan looks for contemplative, often pensive, stories that provide a window into the author’s unique understanding of life.

Alyx Calvin | Editor

Alyx is a first-year Anthropology student. They do film photography as a hobby as well as writing short stories. Their biggest pride is that their cat ‘Tippy’ sleeps with them all night every night they spend at home. They enjoy writing and reading all styles of stories that show a new world, metaphorically or physically.

Emma Mansfield | Team Coordinator

Emma Mansfield is a third-year Creative Writing major with a certificate in Copyediting & Publishing and minor in Biology. She aims to enter the world of editing and publishing once she graduates, hopefully as a fantasy author and editor. In her free time, you can find her reading, crocheting, or curled up with her dogs.




Nova Heller | Editor

Nova is a senior in Digital Media Collaborative studying Game Design with a minor in IT. He intends to make his way into the game industry with his experience in rule making, character design, and story writing. When not being productive, he’s often “studying” games and forgetting to sleep. 




Alexandria Shear'Ree | Editor

Alexandria (Alex) Shear’Ree is a third-year Creative Writing major dedicated to learning about and pursuing the literary publishing field as both a writer and editor. Along with literature, she enjoys coffee of all kinds and works part-time as a barista when she is not in class. Alex enjoys long drives, music, and her cat, Rat.




Everett Parott | Editor

Everett Parrott is a former sailor, third-year Creative Writing student, and aspiring novelist. His favorite genres of fiction are anything that could be described as “pulp,” especially science fiction, creature features, and hardboiled detective stories. His own work can be described as “politically charged and unconcerned with subtlety.” Everett can most often be found making cocktails, watching Star Trek, or relaxing with his German Shepherd, Lilo.




Audrey Baker | Editor

Audrey Baker is a second-year Psychology and English Creative Writing student. Her favorite genres of storytelling are anything fiction–particularly mystery, fantasy, and science fiction. Audrey seeks to explore complex sociopolitical topics through her own works, such as her story “The Rainbow Factory,” which received an honorable mention in UC’s 2024 Writing Prize Competition. Outside of reading and writing, she enjoys listening to music, embroidery, baking, and spending time with her loved ones.

Caelan Marsh | Editor

Caelan Marsh is a senior Anthropology major with a minor in English. In no particular order, they also love: linguistics, coffee, fantasy, their cat, and speculative fiction, and they are always trying to learn more about why words sometimes feel good when you string them together into sentences (or even other shapes).




Ceili O'Brien | Editor

Ceili O’Brien is in her last semester obtaining a Digital Media Collaborative degree along with a certificate in Screenwriting. Storytelling is a quality and an art that has always demanded her attention. Her main reason to write is for personal enjoyment and remedy, so she resonates with art and writing that feels the same. She loves a long walk, the album she’s obsessed with at any given moment, and a pair of wired earbuds. 




Madeline Barker | Editor

Madeline Barker is a third-year business & fine art student. In her free time she enjoys loitering, disorderly conduct and using obscenities.

Interns




Kaycie Embry | Intern

Kaycie Embry is a fourth-year Creative Writing undergraduate with certificates in Professional Writing and Copyediting & Publishing. This upcoming fall, she’ll be a first-year Professional Writing graduate student. When she’s not worrying about school, you can find her reading, with her dog, Eva, or spending time with her friends or boyfriend.




Catherine Ladouceur | Intern

Catherine Ladouceur is a senior at UC. She is studying English Literature and Cultural Studies and pursuing a certificate in Copyediting and Publishing. She hopes to go into the publishing fields when she graduates. Catherine loves reading, karaoke, and taking walks with her dog in her free time.




Avery Miller | Intern

Avery is a senior at the University of Cincinnati studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Rhetoric & Professional Writing. Additionally, she is pursuing a Copyediting & Publishing certificate. In her free time, Avery loves to read, write poetry, travel, thrift, and hang out with her cat, Bleu.
