“Short Vine is a literary journal dedicated to sharing creative works of all genres from undergraduate students. We were founded by Katie Hartsock in 2003. Our first edition came out in 2003 and is still published by undergraduates at UC today. While we originally started as a student-run organization, we are now run by the Creative Writing and Literary Publishing class at UC.

Because we value diversity and inclusion, we encourage authors of all backgrounds to submit to our journal. Any authors who identify and/or belong to historically marginalized and underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to submit. Whether you are an established writer or it’s your first time submitting to a journal, we would love to hear from you.”
